OMNILINK Pty Limited (including business operations in New Zealand, United Kingdom  and Ireland) is now part of the Education Horizons Group Limited, after successfully completing a sale transaction for 100% of the business (effective 28th February 2018).

The acquisition by Education Horizons Group Limited (EHG) sees OMNILINK positioned to grow further in local and international markets, both in education and geospatial data sectors. According to David Bruce OMNILINK’s Managing Director “We are delighted to be part of the EHG where we can see immediate gains for our customers through being part of a wider community. There is the backing of a much greater corporate resource to enable us to expand our offering”.

EHG have recognised the value in OMNILINK’s products and services, delivered by a devoted team that firmly believe in the work they undertake for many loyal customers. OMNILINK has strong links to the government, schools, and business, as well as partners in many industry sectors.  OMNILINK is a key partner to PSMA Australia (Public Sector Mapping Agency), the authoritative source of spatial data which OMNILINK utilises in its school products and for business services.

OMNILINK and Synergetic (one of EHG’s founding companies) already have had a longstanding partnership through the development of StudentWhere™ and the integration of AssetWhere™ with fmXpert. As such many of Australasia’s leading schools are mutual customers. This tight working relationship will continue to evolve as OMNILINK staff work closely with colleagues across the EHG Group.

OMNILINK also acknowledges Ed Garvin, the former Executive Chairman, who has since retired after nearly 30 years of service to the company. “Without Ed’s vision and dedication, OMNILINK would not be where it is today”, commented David. “Plus, there are many employees of OMNILINK that have gone on to do remarkable things, after starting a career in OMNILINK”.
